Hiking
The Große Stein is a densely wooded hill above Holzhausen. You can still see traces of its volcanic origins today on the rubble dump, where the basalt, which has been weathered for thousands of years, has scattered over the hilltop. According to another story, the giants living here threw man-sized basalt cones at each other and thus distributed the chunks all the way down into the Hickengrund.
