The Roman baths are actually a construction that was carried out in two phases. The first dates back to the Chalcolithic period, and at least 37 circular pits or silos have been preserved from this period, which were originally classified as necropolises. The second phase began in the 1st century AD, following the Roman occupation; the baths were built during this period, the main leisure centre of the time.
