Hiking
Over 600 names of missing people are engraved on the shiny marble tablets. The list begins with two soldiers who died in free balloons around 1870 and 1902, then goes on to all the victims from both world wars, up to the victims of a helicopter crash in 1979, which occurred nearby.
The monument represents a broken wing and is by the sculptor André Bizette-Lindet.
