The Battery did not operate against naval targets but, thanks to the revolving tower, struck the Austro-Hungarian infantry and outposts on several occasions in the last battles conducted on the Basso Piave in 1918 and was maintained in efficiency until April 1945.
It is part of the "Via dei forti" of Cavallino Tre Porti, thematic itinerary that connects the military fortifications built between 1845 and 1917.
