Another lovely old church. It's a shame there are almost always cars parked around it. You almost never get a really good photo. The church wouldn't look out of place in a good Western movie

The origin of the church is pre-Romanesque (7th-9th centuries), possibly early Christian, since it is believed that there was an altar here in the time of the Bishop of Empúries. Later it became the castle chapel and could also be used as a hermitage. Part of the chapel dates from this early period, while the nave was probably remodeled between the 16th and 18th centuries (Wikipedia).
