Gravel road to Pedro Barba

The double track goes above a sandy desert overlooking the ocean and Lanzarote. The unpaved road leads to Pedro Barba, an inhabited town with a few limestone-plastered stone houses.

Point 3 is wrongly named, the wonderful beach "Las Conchas" is west of Montana Bermeja (see G.-Maps). I recommend cycling there from Caleta de Sebo on the gravel road, from there to Los Arcos to the east, and back on the paved paths in the same way. The stretch 2 km before Playa Lambra goes through quicksand, which is hell in the heat. I've seen people here completely despair because they had to push crappy rental bikes with 7-speed gears (!) in the sand. And: TAKE ENOUGH WATER WITH YOU!!! There are no supplies or shade anywhere.
