This huge climb is 100% worth it! Amazing scenery, hardly any cars (none at all early in the morning), breathtaking views, and coffee and cake at the top by @itsdaj1 (check which months she'll be (camped!) there, you can contact her on instagram)

The climb and descent are steep in places, with rough gravel and stream crossings.

Suggest low gears, disc brakes, and fat tubeless tyres!

There are also no shops and therefore nowhere to buy food and water (unless you're lucky enough to find @itsdaj1) - we took water from streams, it's fine high up on the mountain above the livestock. But pack plenty of snacks!
