Mountain biking

A very beautiful, freely accessible fortress with a nice restaurant in the inner courtyard, the Burgwirt. The fortress is 630 meters above Weißenburg. The floor plan of the Wülzburg forms an almost regular pentagon, a pentagon. Compared to rectangular systems, this had ballistic and structural advantages. The castle was built between 1588 and around 1610. The outer tour and the inner courtyard of the fortress are accessible at all times. Guided tours take place from May to the end of October.
