The Gasselterveld is 65 ha and is situated in a wooded area in beautiful Drenthe. The large sandy beach has been open to the public since 2017. When the weather is nice, you can relax here with swimming and doing nothing.

This is an oddity in this landscape of pine forests and bogs. The Gasselterveld used to be an mine, hence the "oddity" of light blue waters in a place where every other pond, lake, puddle is pitch black!
