The Josefskapelle, built in 1989, stands on a popular hiking trail that leads from the Heusweiler cemetery through the "Prieschel" to the hamlet of Hirtel. At the highest point, the Hirteler Kreuz, which is about 270 meters high, the Josefskapelle invites you to linger on one of the outdoor benches. On the left hand side is the Holzer Höhe with the striking Heusweiler water tower and the SR transmitter Göttelborn, Riegelsberg and the 376 meter high transmitter Schocksberg are in the middle viewing area. Far right on the horizon rises the Püttlinger mountain dump.
