This pretty natural stone arch bridge was built in 1752. Then, as now, no cars drive over it. From the bridge you have a romantic view of the Apfelstädt river. There is a hose dispenser nearby.

At the instigation of the Imperial Count Gustav Adolf von Gotter, who was the owner of the Molsdorfer Schloss, a natural stone arch bridge was built from 1751 to 1752 at the place of a ford through the Apfelstädt. At the Bauwerk bridge, the highway from Gotha to Erfurt met with the road from Arnstadt to Molsdorf (Wikipedia).
