Church of the Holy Archangel Michael. It was built in 1864-1865 in the pseudo-Russian style: similar churches were built at state expense in many cities of Belarus after the uprising of 1863-1864. Even the amount spent on the Shchuchinsky temple is known - 4651 rubles. 64 kop. The work was supervised by the church building committee, which consisted of representatives of the tsarist administration.

The stone temple in its architecture resembles monuments of wooden architecture with their characteristic decorative elements resembling kokoshniks. The construction consists of a square part with a tent topped with an onion dome, an octagonal belfry and a five-sided apse.

With the entry of Shchuchin into the Polish Republic in 1921, the parish lost most of its possessions, but services continued in the church. It was not closed under the Soviet regime either. St. Michael's Church is still active. Source: belarus.by
