St. Marien is the Protestant church in the town of Rothenburg in the Saalekreis in Saxony-Anhalt, which belongs to the municipality of Wettin-Löbejün. It belongs to the Wettin parish association in the Halle-Saalkreis church district of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany. The church is registered as a monument in the local register of monuments under registration number 094 55151
The church, located on a ridge on the banks of the Saale, was built between 1840 and 1844 based on a design by Friedrich August Stüler in the neo-Romanesque arched style from the local reddish sandstone. It probably had a previous building built in the 13th century.
It is a squat rectangular building with a semicircular windowless apse in the east and a slender square west tower. Canopy-like open entrance halls flank the tower on the north and south sides. At the corners of the ship there are flat pillars crowned with pinnacles.

The church, located on a ridge on the banks of the Saale, was built between 1840 and 1844 based on a design by Friedrich August Stüler in a neo-Romanesque round-arch style from the local reddish sandstone. This new building was financed by a donation from the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV. It was built on the same site, but was larger and given a more secure foundation. The cemetery and the surrounding wall were also leveled for this purpose.
