At the ruins of the Massenburg you will find a viewing platform that gives you a beautiful view of the city of Leoben and the surrounding mountains. The ruin dates back to the 9th or 10th century. However, the name Massenburg is only documented for the 12th century. In 1998 and 1999 the remains of the castle were uncovered and renovated.

16.03.2019 - Beautiful view over Leoben from the observation tower at the top of the mass castle. It is just minutes from downtown and within easy reach.
