The town hall was built in 1704 to a design by Benedikt Burtscher on the corner of "Zeil" and the country road leading to Mönstadt, with an integrated fire station. A two-storey half-timbered building with a slate-covered hip roof and a ridge turret, consisting of a square substructure with clock faces, an octagonal bell tower and a Welsch cap. The weather vane is from 1930. The structural half-timbering without a storey projection has wall-high struts on both the truss and corner posts on the upper floor, each braced with a spike. In 1839/40 it was converted into a school building as part of the Nassau school reform. The Naunstadt town hall was a pioneer of other town halls built in the Hintertaunus during the 18th century, mostly for multifunctional purposes.
