The “Sigulda” bobsleigh and luge track is located in Sigulda, at 13 Šveices Street. The track was built in 1986, is 1200+220 m long and consists of 16 curves. A speed of up to 125 km/h can be reached on the racetrack. Bobsleigh, luge and skeleton competitions are held on the bobsleigh and toboggan run. Before the newly built artificial ice rinks in Russia - in Paramonova and Sochi - the Sigulda track was the only one in Eastern Europe. From the viewing platform of the men's start overpass you can see not only the old slopes of the gang, but also the panorama of the city and the bobsleigh run. Every visitor has the opportunity to walk through all the curves of the route and visit the monuments.
