Hiking

There is a large car park around the Zugbar. When the official (tarred) parking lot is full, the farmers kindly make the surrounding meadow available for parking for just 3.00/day including the parking guide. So there is always enough parking space in Schwende. If possible, form carpools or travel by public transport, of course, still makes sense.
If you arrive by car, it is an advantage if you choose the starting point on the hour or half hour, since the train always arrives 12 from and 42 before, so you don't have to follow the flow of public transport users.
