The Schaeffer Farm Trail System travels through the heart of Seneca Creek State Park and offers a bunch of different trail options depending on what type of trail run you are looking to do. There are smoother paths (even some paved options) and some rockier, hillier options. Most of the paved are really well-marked and well-kept, and you will likely see other users while out for your run.
