WV/ Blackwater Falls State Park/ Elakala Falls to Balanced Rock, Cherry Lane, Shady Trace & Water-tank trail
Recht nass dennoch sehr gut machbar - an diesem Samstag trotz vollen Parkplatz am Lodge nur am Wasserfall viele Besucher getroffen, sonst lief fast alleine durch den Wald. State Park Ranger haben einen Stand in der Lodge und stehen zu Fragen bereit!

This is a very good one! Large parking lot, a Picknick shelter across the road and fantastic view!

Douglas Falls and Table Rock are still worth it if you are already in Davis.
The access to the Table Rock Trailhead is via the Canaan Loop Trail, an approx. 10-mile gravel road from Route 32 (the direct way from Blackwater Lodge is not passable).
The 4km (2km there and back) hike will be muddy, however.

WV/ Davis village walk & river trail
Only if your dog needs an additional walk close by. Otherwise drive 5min to the State Park, Davis isn’t a fancy place.
