The bike path leads over 30.3 kilometers from Brilon on Rüthen, Belecke, Sichtigvor, Allagen, Niederbergheim, Völlinghausen, Wamel, Echtrop, Elfsen to Soest. About two-thirds of the entire route is covered on the old railway line - where formerly rails were laid, today it rolls neatly over asphalt.
