The Alpsee (approx. 62m deep) near Hohenschwangau captivates with its clear blue water. In addition to an outdoor pool and local boat rentals, the lake offers an easy Alpine circular hiking trail of approximately 6km! The trail is not suitable for wheelchair users, strollers, or bicycles! The trail repeatedly climbs and descends mountains over rough rocks, large roots, and small bridges with grated floors! The view is breathtaking, and here and there you catch glimpses of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwanstein!
