L'Umbracle

The Umbracle is an immense garden of more than 17,000 m2 that is freely accessible where you can walk and see typical plants of the Mediterranean as well as contemporary sculptures.

Sculptural and landscape site of the complex of buildings of the City of Arts and Sciences. It contains hundreds of different native plants and plants from the area that make it a very pleasant and picturesque place worth visiting and exploring. The well-known Sculpture Path located inside is an open-air art gallery that contains numerous pieces by artists such as Miquel, Francesc Abbot, Yoko Ono and others. The space was designed by the architect Santiago Calatrava conceived as an entrance to the southwestern wing of the city.

The open-air corridor is a beautiful place with palm trees and native plants. The architecture of the building is also worth seeing.
