At this point the climb that leads to Cippo di Carpegna begins. The climb is divided into two parts, the first three kilometers of which have an average gradient of 15%, after which you arrive at a false plateau where it is possible to refuel with fresh water from the source and then tackle the last four kilometers with medium gradients by 18%. It is very nice to savor every bend along this route and at least once read the various writings found on the billboards that are displayed. It's worth it at least the first time not to push to the max to push the performance, but to enjoy every breath you take, and reflect on the sentences you find written on the asphalt... one above all strikes the mind and the imagination "You feel only your breath!".
