Valencia has transformed the old Turia river channel into a large garden of 9 km. Visiting the City of Arts and Sciences is a must when you come to Valencia. It was designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava, with several buildings that have become icons of the city. It is a complex of culture and leisure to enjoy with friends and family, today the complex covers about two kilometers of the ancient bed of the river Turia.

The City of Arts and Sciences is in itself a spectacle for the eyes. The buildings that make up this impressive cultural and recreational center were designed by Santiago Calatrava, and present an avant-garde image that takes us into the 21st century.

It is the set of modern and contemporary buildings that are an icon and symbol of Valencia.
It is currently the cultural and architectural center and the most important tourist attraction of recent times in the city.

It was designed by the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela and his muse was nature and the forms found in it. It has iconic buildings such as the Palau de les Artes, L'Hemisferic, L'Agora and L'Umbracle. Its construction began in 1996 and ended in 2009 with the inauguration of the last L'Agora building.
