This forest house is on a hill with unbeatable views of the Guadalquivir valley. Sitting on the stone benches to contemplate the landscape after a long journey is incredible.
Part of the forest house is used to shelter herds of sheep and goats. The other part has been set up as a refuge for hikers and cyclists.

Exclusive to hikers and cyclists, this refugio offers a dry and simple place to sleep and cook. A bit dusty, but there was a broom to clean up...!

Forest refuge located in a privileged place with views towards El Banderillas and the Guadalquivir valley, flanked by spectacular mountains. From the forest house, a marked trail starts that is not part of the GR 247, but whose route is highly recommended, especially its initial section, which is very panoramic. It is an old 3-kilometer bridle path that descends with a considerable slope to the bottom of the Guadalquivir valley, passing through the Barranco de la Tuerta, the Arroyo del Saúco, and Los Huertezuelos.
