Visible from afar, the Protestant Christ Church stands almost exactly in the geographical center between Kutenhausen and Todtenhausen (now districts of Minden), whose church it remains to this day. It was built in 1907 according to plans by the Bielefeld government architect Karl Siebold as a brick building in the Neo-Romanesque style with Art Nouveau elements. The interior of the church was significantly redesigned during renovations in 1967 and 1997, reflecting contemporary tastes. Like many Protestant churches, Christ Church is rarely open outside of service hours. From the outside, you can walk around it at any time and view it from all sides.
