The boundary stones that can be found along Eselsweg, Birkenhainer Straße and also along Wiesener Straße mark old and very old borders, starting with the border between the Churmainz and Churhessian areas, later between the Kingdom of Bavaria and the Kingdom of Prussia. In addition, there are boundary stones at the municipal forest boundaries and also to separate the church forest (KW) and state forest.
