Some of these refuges actually served for years as bus shelters and shelters in the neighboring municipality of Flotwedel in the district of Celle. Luckily some found their new destiny in this form. In the meantime, the roof of this refuge has been renewed (as of 2022). This refuge is surrounded by a beautiful alder forest. Mosquitoes in summer.
