This site is the ruins of what was a great Roman city between the 1st and 4th centuries AD. C. The complex had all kinds of facilities: religious temples, a necropolis, hot springs, etc. Mulva-Munigua's success as an iron producer was such that for many years it was the administrative, judicial and religious center of the entire region.

It was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest in 1931.

Admission is completely free, and the opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., from Wednesday to Sunday.
