Ödenbach is a small district of Breitnau in the Upper Black Forest. The hamlet is south-east of the town center and consists of a small number of individual farms. Ödenbach first appeared in writing in the 15th century. Ödenbach has belonged to the Vogtei Steig since the Middle Ages and came with Steig to Breitnau in 1936. A stream of the same name flows through Ödenbach. It is one of the main tributaries of the Ravenna, which flows wildly and romantically through the Ravenna Gorge.

Bridges and rivers simply belong together. The bridges in the gorge also look impressive when they suddenly appear in front of you from a bend.
