Alberssee Beach

A clear recreational lake with a beautiful sandy beach. Open from March to October in good weather. The water is monitored by the German Lifeboat Association (DLRG), at least on weekends. The lido has a café with a snack bar. Pedal boats are also available for rent. Admission is free. Plenty of bicycle parking is available in front of the café.

In the north, Lipperode is bordered by a large nature and landscape conservation area, which can be explored on marked paths. There is an observation hut at Lake Zacharias, a resting and breeding ground for numerous bird species. Adjacent to the east you come to the 23-hectare Alberssee, a former quarry pond, one of Lippstadt's sailing areas with a natural outdoor pool at the southern end. In the south, the Lippe with its meadows and meadows is the natural boundary. This area is also crossed by nature protection zones (biotopes).

Nice and warm - it invites you to swim and infrastructure (cafes and ice cream) is also available.
