Please check local regulations for: Parc naturel régional Vallée de la Rance - Côte d'Émeraude
Nestled between the Rance and the Frémur, in the north-east of Brittany, in the Côtes d'Armor department, Taden maintains a close relationship with water and nature. Its banks of the Rance, so dear to fishermen and boaters, are ideal for long walks on marked trails (4 to 11km). The first traces of Taden date back to prehistoric times. In Gallo-Roman times, it was a large port, a crossroads of river and land routes. The Guillaume fountain is still a witness to this on the Chemin de l'Etrat linking Dol to Corseul.
Other historic sites include the Saint-Fiacre church located in Trélat, the Grand'Cour manor (14th century), the Garaye castle (16th century) and the Saint-Pierre church (14th to Sixteenth century).
