Boulters Lock is famous for being one of the original places of Edwardian elegance when the train line first came to Maidenhead. Still now it is a lovely riverside Lock where passenger boats and private boats use the old lock. Just over the small stone bridge is a very attractive island with lots of shaded and peaceful areas where you can walk and relax. A large car park is nearby to the lock, just across the road.
