The former St. Andrew's Church - today's town hall - The late Gothic St. Andrew's Church was first mentioned in 1270. In another document from 1389, which shows the oldest seal of Vohburg, it is mentioned again. 1670 reconstruction of the church and the tower, 4 years later installation of the high altar. Deconsecrated in 1880 and subsequently used as a grain store, hops hall, fire station and gymnasium. Badly damaged in an air raid in 1945.In 1954/55 it was converted into a town hall. The eight-sided pointed helmet, covered with glazed clay tiles in 1964, rises above the Gothic gable.From 2004 - 2007 the Andreaskirche was converted into a modern town hall. The picture on the town hall gable was painted by honorary citizen Konrad Schneider in 1955. Image height 4.9 m / image width 8.4 m. Renovated in 2007 by master painter Kurt Fahn.
