Evangelical Church Holzburg

The Evangelical Church Holzburg is a listed church building in the district of Holzburg in the municipality of Schrecksbach in the Schwalm-Eder district (Hesse). The parish belongs to the parish of Schrecksbach in the church district of Schwalm-Eder in Marburg district of the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck.The hall church dates from 1789. A square, slated roof turret rises from the gable roof of the nave in the west, behind the sound arcades of which the bell chair is located. Above it sits an octagonal tower housing the tower clock and topped with a lantern. The interior of the church is early classical. A pulpit decorated with rocaille belongs to it. The organ was built in 1818 by Johann Hartmann Bernhard.Source: Wikipedia
