In a Canadian-style setting, Lac de Roue is one of the few Queyras lakes to be surrounded by larches (endemic pines of the Briançon region).
In addition to the inevitable romanticism of the place, two sites equipped for the bivouac await the itinerants of the GR 5 on the portion which joins Château-Queyras to Briançon.
