    Cycling

The Tote Moor is the largest raised bog in the Hanover region in terms of area. Peat was – and in some cases still is – cut here. The area represents a unique biotope and valuable habitat for both amphibians and reptiles. Probably the most beautiful route from Neustadt to the Steinhuder Meer leads right through this nature reserve. The nature conservation project is funded by the EU.
