The path leads from the former border between Thuringia and Bavaria directly to Käßlitz and crosses the former patrol path. The bike path branches off towards Allertshausen/ Maroldsweisach. You pass the Schafsee, a beautiful place in the middle of the forest before Käßlitz. The pond is a paradise for frogs.
