The origins of the castle called "Bąkowiec" are unknown. The first certain mention comes from 1390. The heir of the castle was then Mikołaj Strzała. Under what circumstances Nicholas received the castle is unknown. Later, the castle was ruled by: Piotr Lis, Jan from Sieciechowice, Mikołaj Morawiec from Konaszówka, and from 1435 Krystyn from Koziegłowy. After them, the owners of the castle changed several times. Since the 17th century, the castle has been in ruins, the circumstances of its abandonment are unknown. In 1927, the hill and the castle were bought by architect Witold Czeczott, who added a residential house to the ruins in 1933. Currently, the facility is part of a holiday resort.
