Shortly after it was built in 1934, Nino Coppellotti's hut was robbed by unknown perpetrators after the start of the Second World War and shortly afterwards even blown up.
It is said to be in retaliation for a skirmish earlier that day between a group of partisans and German soldiers. At the annual meeting of the section of the CAI in 1964 it was decided to give up the property.
