A piece of art. Great to combine if you are on your way to the center of Veenendaal or to the Binnenveld. Nice place to take pictures when the sun is right.
The imposing work weighs 85,000 kilos and at fourteen meters it is the highest copper work of art in the Netherlands (source gelderlander.nl from 2007).
A little further, towards the big bear, you will find a snack bar and a Turkish supermarket.
Next to the monument are a few beautiful trees close together so you can relax in the shade on the grass.
