The Menhir de la Tiemblais (also called Tremblais, Thiemblaye or Pierre Longue) is an eight meter high menhir from the Neolithic period, i.e. it can be dated to around 3,000 to 2,500 BC. Due to the soft ground, it is now inclined by about 45 degrees. Under certain lighting conditions, symbolic incised drawings are recognizable. These are also traced on an information board, but not explained further. By the way, climbing the top of the Hinkelstein is not that easy. Due to the age of the stone, however, it is clear that Obelix could not have set it up.
