Hiking
The view of Freiburg and beyond into the Black Forest and towards Kaiserstuhl is worth seeing; the climb is worth it. From there there are some hiking and cycling trails that are tough.

Hiking
The Schönberg lies towards Au behind Merzhausen, in the south of Freiburg. It is over 440 m high. The highlight is not only the forest and the incredibly beautiful view of Freiburg, but also the Jesuit castle. You can linger in the café and enjoy the view of Freiburg, the Black Forest and Kaiserstuhl 🤗
