From the dike you have a great view of the Jade Bay in Sehestedt. Certainly also at sunset, but I would recommend both directly by the sea. Simply go down and sit on one of the benches and listen to the birds chirping, because here in the salt marshes there are many special songbird species such as reed buntings, whitethroats, reed warblers and bluethroats.
