The Stadsgehoorzaal Kampen breathes history from every crack, corner and recess of the building. When you take a seat in the red plush chairs under the beautiful chandelier in the main hall, you imagine yourself in a timeless theater landscape. People also sat here at the end of the 19th century, when the Stadsgehoorzaal opened its doors. Much has changed in the theater over 125 years, but one place has remained the same: the main hall. You are surrounded by history. This is real theatre.

We are proud of our theater. But not only in the beautiful main hall. We have more to offer. Much more. In recent years, the entire building, from the ridge to the basement, has undergone a major renovation. All areas have been renovated and fully adapted to today's requirements.

There are three beautiful foyers, each with their own character, the dressing rooms are among the most beautiful in the Netherlands (we occasionally hear back from the artists who are guests here), we have a 4K film projector with dolby surround for the Filmhuis performances in the small hall, in short, the Stadsgehoorzaal is ready for the next 125 years.
