In antiquity, there was a port of great commercial importance here. Today's marina with its yachts and boats is mainly tourist. It is an extremely photogenic place. On the one hand, you have a view of the Adriatic Sea, and on the other, the Kyrenia Mountains, which slope relatively sharply into the sea at this point. On the semi-circular waterfront you will find cafes, bars, bistros and restaurants. Here you can taste the specialties of the local cuisine and drink traditional Turkish tea.

Hiking
Kyrenia Harbour – also known as Girne Harbour – is one of the most beautiful places in Cyprus. Between historic sailing boats, small cafés, and the imposing castle, a very special Mediterranean atmosphere is created. Especially in the evening, when the lights reflect in the water and the sun disappears behind the sea, the harbour almost seems like something out of a movie. The narrow streets of the old town, the old Venetian buildings, and the relaxed vibe make this place a real highlight in Northern Cyprus.
