Parc de l'Abbaye de Liessies is a beautiful protected park between forest and meadow, where flora and fauna live together in harmony. Unfortunately, only ruins remain of the abbey founded in 1095, one of the oldest abbeys in Thiérache. However, the Benedictine monks who inhabited it until the French Revolution created the park at the end of the 17th century, which has been completely preserved! You will find a French garden, a large lake that is the happiness of its inhabitants and an almost hundred-year-old orchard.
