Dated by historical works, the church was rebuilt in 1725. Nothing is known about the previous building. The place called Coz Iliz, the Old Church, to the south-east of the town, suggests that there was a building which served as a place of worship, which would explain the presence of the devotional fountain of Saint Edultride. The bell tower houses a bell dated 1776.

Nothing is known about the previous building. The bell tower houses a bell from 1776.
