The Quirinuskirche from the 11th century, which is largely unknown today, was followed before 1400 by a large Gothic building. The town of Fischamend-Dorf grew around the Gothic building, which had been separated from the town of Markt-Fischamend, which had grown around the Michaelskirche, by the river Fischa for imaginable times. Today, musical events take place in the Quirinuskirche in addition to church services. The ground plan and the outer masonry with the buttresses up to the roof have been preserved from the Gothic building.
