Best Hikes to Schafbergspitze Railway Station

Tips

  • The starting point of the route is the Schafberg train station in St. Wolfgang on the Uferstrasse, located directly on Lake Wolfgang. The company workshop located there is reached via a transfer platform due to the limited space. Initially, the route runs fairly flat through the built-up area of St. Wolfgang with an incline of 6 or 4.4 percent. Shortly after the bridge over the Dietlbachgraben, the settlement area is left and the steep section with a relatively constant 25 percent incline begins.

  • Everything was well organized. A ride on the Schafbergbahn is very worthwhile
